This is a really easy to install car seat - not the cheapest type on the market but our son is really comfy in it - in fact he falls asleep in it within 15 mins of being placed in it! The padding is very soft with good cushioning around the head. It can be a little bit fiddly putting our son in to the seat because the straps naturally fall behind his back unless you slot the metal clasps into the side holders first but once you remember to do that its fine. It has a tilt mechanism so on long journeys where we know he will sleep we tilt it so he is more horizontal but for short journeys we leave it in the upright position. I would recommend this to anyone moving on from the first stage baby seats. We put our son in this when he was about 8 months old - he's long and lean but doesn't look like he's sliding around in it like he did with other seats. He's now nearly 1 and we are really happy with it.
